A major accident took place at Laxmi Petroleum (Petrol Pump) near Kalyan Bagh in Valsad last night. The petrol pump was in the process of refilling petrol from the tanker to the underground tank when a fire broke out due to a short circuit in the motor put up for refilling. As soon as the fire broke out in a sensitive area like a petrol pump, there was a lot of panic among the employees and people present there.The team immediately rushed to the spot as it was in front of the fire station
As soon as the fire broke out, the alert employees of the petrol pump used a timeline. As the fire station of Valsad Municipality was located right opposite the petrol pump, the employees immediately rushed to the fire brigade team and reported the incident. Fire officer Lalit Parmar and his team rushed to the spot without a moment's delay with ABC fire extinguisher and a firefighter's vehicle.The fire was brought under control in the initial stages.
After a lot of effort, the fire was completely brought under control before it spread further. Fortunately, there were no casualties in the incident.A major tragedy averted
If the fire brigade team had not reached on time, there could have been a big blast at the petrol pump and there would have been a huge loss of life and property. Due to the prompt action of the fire team, a major disaster has been averted.
