The Veraval-Patan Joint Municipality organized the story of Shri Satyanarayan Bhagwan on the occasion of the holy month of Shravana. The religious program was attended by the President of the Municipality Naresh Gohel, office bearers, councillors and other leaders. The month of Shravan is considered to be the holy month of worship of Lord Shiva. During this month, various religious programs are held. The municipality also organized Satyanarayan Katha keeping this tradition alive. Municipal President Naresh Gohel was specially present on the occasion. Along with him, various councillors and office bearers of the municipality also participated in the Katha. An atmosphere of devotion was created during the listening of the Katha. The dignitaries present offered prayers to Bhagwan Shri Satyanarayana. He prayed for happiness, peace, prosperity and all-round development of the city and its citizens. The religious program also witnessed an atmosphere of faith in the municipal premises. After the completion of the Katha, religious rituals including aarti of the Lord and distribution of prasad were also completed. The Katha brought together the office bearers and members of the municipality through religious faith.
