Ahmedabad crime branch apprehended Mohammad Taslim Shaikh, a former Abdul Latif gang member and life convict in the 1992 Radhika Gymkhana massacre and Rauf Valiullah murder. Shaikh had been on the run for seven years after absconding from parole in 2019. He was tracked to Udaipur, Rajasthan, where he lived with his family under different identities. Legal proceedings are underway to return him to Sabarmati Central Jail.
