Rajkot doctor ‘slaps’ woman colleague over critical patient admission

A resident doctor faced abuse and assault from a colleague in Rajkot Civil Hospital. The disagreement arose over admitting a critically ill female patient to the emergency ward. Police registered an FIR against Dr Ashwin Ramani for the alleged incident on Thursday evening. Dr Ramani has been sent on mandatory leave pending a health department decision. Resident doctors protested the senior doctor's behavior, demanding appropriate action.
