The Gujarat government has decided to ban the sale of analog paneer in view of the health of the people. It has come to the notice of the government that in many states, the paneer made from real milk is being replaced by analog paneer in eateries including hotels and restaurants. After that, it has been decided to ban it. According to the Health Minister, 1,000 kg of cheese and other items were destroyed in 74 places in a single day yesterday. Even today, this campaign is being run in the state. In Vadodara, 471 kg of analog paneer has been seized in a single day.

In Vadodara, the health department conducted strict checks on the second day of the campaign against analogue cheese, butter and cheese. A team of the health branch of the corporation raided the distributors of cheese, cheese and butter, including the well-known Sitaram Super Market in the Chhani area. In the last 24 hours, a total of 471 kg of analog paneer has been seized in Vadodara. Food inspector P. M. Bhavsar said that clear instructions have been given from the government to take action as per FSSAI rules. As a result, such intensive checks will continue in the city in the coming days.
Traders are selling fat spreads in the name of real butter
The food inspector revealed that a quantity of branded paneer was found during the raid but at the same time a big revelation has been made about butter being sold in the market. Some traders are selling fat spreads in the name of genuine butter, which is basically made from vegetable oil. He made a special appeal to the citizens that common people should not consume fat spreads as real butter. The administration has given a clear warning that strict action will be taken against those who play games with the health of the people by selling adulterated food items or analog products.
