A private car parked outside the residence of the city Mamlatdar on Hospital Road in the city was hit by a speeding car driver. People in the vicinity rushed to the spot following the incident. However, after the police intervened in the matter and a settlement was reached between the two parties, the complaint was not registered. According to the details of the incident, a car was parked near the city mamlatdar's quarters on Bhavsinhji Government Hospital Road in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The collision was so intense that the city mamlatdar's car was smashed up to 10 feet. A police convoy reached the spot after the accident took place near the residence of a government official. There was a possibility of legal action after the accident, but in the presence of the police, a mutual settlement was reached between the two parties, due to which no police complaint was filed.
