VADODARA: A total of 1408 BJP workers have demanded tickets for the district, taluka and municipal corporations in Vadodara district.
A total of 260 candidates have sought tickets for the 34 seats of Vadodara Zilla Panchayat, out of which 40 are in the fray for 4 seats in Dabhoi taluka.
Similarly, 772 contenders have sought tickets for a total of 170 seats in eight taluka panchayats.
