A 20-year-old woman, who accidentally consumed a herbicide in the village of Chakar (Ko) in the taluka, died during treatment after her three-month-old baby died in the womb. According to the information received from the Padar police station, 20-year-old Disaben Umeshbhai Charpot, a resident of Mul Dahod and now a resident of Chakar (Ko) Wadi, died after consuming the medicine. The incident took place at around 8 am on December 4 when the victim accidentally consumed herbicide to burn grass when she was alone at the Wadi. Talking to DySP M J Christian, who is investigating the case, he said that after the incident, a DD of Parineeta, who was undergoing treatment at GK General Hospital in Bhuj, said that she had consumed the medicine by mistake.
