Accused Review: Even Konkona Sensharma, Pratibha Rannta's acting couldn't save Weak storytelling

Film Accused has recently been released on Netflix. It seems to be a below-average film. The story is based on the issue of MeToo, but this time the accusations are not made on a man but on a woman.
Konkona Sen Sharma is playing the role of a doctor in the film, who is accused of MeToo one after the other. His character is in a relationship with a female doctor and his personal life as a married lesbian couple also becomes part of the story. After the allegations, tension increases in the relationship between the two. The question remains whether the allegations are true or conspiracy?
However, the film does not capture this suspense in a strong way. Throughout the story, the audience waits for a big revelation or twist, but the climax does not leave much of an impact and is quite disappointing. Talking about
Acting, Konkana Seh Sharma is as impressive as ever. Pratibha Ranta, who was recently liked in Laapataa Ladies, looks good here as well. But due to weak writing, even his hard work does not lift the film up.
Overall, it can be seen if you just want to pass the time, otherwise it is difficult to recommend it in particular. 2 out of 5 star.
