Hyderabad Drunk Driving: Drunk youth hits traffic constable with Benz car, flees with him on bonnet

A major accident was averted on Saturday (28 February 2026) night in the Gachibowli area of Hyderabad. A 24-year-old man, G. Tarun, created a ruckus under the influence of alcohol. First, he rammed a car from behind with his luxury Benz car in Nanakramguda. After this, he started running towards Gachibowli without stopping. On the way, traffic constable Narasimhulu, who was on duty, tried to stop him.

It is being told that when the car did not stop, the constable climbed on the bonnet, but the drunk driver did not stop the car and continued to carry him on the bonnet for some distance. The police reached the spot and arrested the accused. A case has been registered against him under several sections. The video of the incident went viral on social media. In the video, the constable is seen clinging to the bonnet of the car. People around were horrified to see the scene.
