Water Contamination In Ahmedabad: A situation similar to the water scandal that took place in Indore some time ago has arisen in Ghatlodia, the assembly constituency of the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Around 500 to 600 people in Gota and Thaltej areas are suffering from diseases including diarrhoea and vomiting due to contaminated drinking water. Local residents had been making representations to the municipal corporation in the matter for four days. But the situation worsened as the administration did not take the complaint seriously. For the past two days, some people have been forced to call 108 ambulances and send them to hospitals for treatment.
