The mayor on Wednesday visited the spot to ensure that people do not face any problem in the monsoon due to the ongoing drainage water works of the GUDC worth over Rs 100 crore in Navsari. Divya Bhaskar on Tuesday published a report that more than 9 big projects in Navsari are incomplete when the monsoon is approaching. On Wednesday, Mayor Ashok Dhorajia, Commissioner Jayesh Upadhyay and others visited Viraval, Italwa, Grid Road, Eru etc. to see the incomplete drainage water projects of the GUDC in the city. During the visit, the monsoon was nearing and assessed the situation and found that excavation had been done at many places, roads were broken. Instructions were given so that people do not face difficulties.
