A serious road accident took place on the Dhandhuka-Ranpur road in Ahmedabad district today (June 4). The car was blown off in an explosive collision between an uncontrolled truck and a car near Kishan Jin. A 35-year-old teacher died on the spot, while three people, including the deceased's wife and innocent son, were seriously injured. The accident took place when the victim's family was on their way to Limkheda from Porbandar to work after the school vacation. The name of the deceased was so horrific that the front part of the car was completely crushed. One of the young men died on the spot in the accident. All the injured people were evacuated by locals and emergency services. The family screamed as they lost their head in front of their eyes. According to the family details, Mohan Parbatbhai Vasan (35), a native of Amipura village in Porbandar district, was working as a teacher in a village near Limkheda in Dahod district. With the summer vacation over and schools about to reopen, Mohanbhai and his family had left Porbandar for Limkheda with household items. He was accompanied by his wife, son and uncle's son, while a young man named Chirag was following in another luggage-laden car. As soon as the accident was reported, locals in the vicinity rushed to the spot for rescue operations. A team of 108 ambulance from Dhandhuka rushed to the spot after being immediately informed about the incident. The 108 team rushed the three injured to Dhandhuka RMS Hospital in a bloodied condition. However, the condition of the trio is found to be critical and has been shifted to Botad for further treatment. At the same time, a team of 112 police also rushed to the spot. The police have taken up the proposal to shift the body for postmortem.
