
Gujarat ST Employees Protest: The Gujarat ST Mazdoor Mahasangh has announced an agitation from June 18 to 25 on the issue of privatization of Gujarat ST, which is the lifeline of public transport and pending issues of employees. In which the ST workers will sit on a dharna with black bands on their hands, chanting Ramdhun with bells outside the corporation's headquarters and all divisional offices, bus depots.
What is the main reason for resentment among employees?
The employees have now rolled up their sleeves against the arbitrariness of the ST corporation. They are angry with the corporation's decision to rent buses from a private agency by paying crores of rupees and to recruit four thousand drivers and conductors through outsourcing.
