
Ahmedabad News: Incidents of theft of valuables of passengers in shuttle rickshaws are on the rise in the eastern region, yesterday a woman from Rajasthan got down at Naroda Memco in a bus and got down at the Geeta Mandir bus stand in a shuttle rickshaw. On the way, gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 20 lakh and a purse filled with cash were stolen. The Kagdapith police checked the CCTV footage and found the jewellery within a few hours and returned it to the woman.
The woman was travelling from Rajasthan to Ahmedabad via Pune.
The woman, who lives in a village on Pali Road in Rajasthan, got down at Naroda Memco yesterday in a bus from Rajasthan as she was going to Pune and from there she went to Geeta Mandir S.
