The Chamber of Commerce dispute in Porbandar has finally come to an end. Nalin Kanani and his team have filed a complaint against 7 people in the Rajkot Charity Commissioner. Five trustee petitioners, including Nalinbhai, have been ordered to take over the administration of the chamber and hold the election within 45 days. The controversy over the presidency of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Porbandar has been raging for a long time. The dispute between trustee Nalin Kanani and his team as well as the team of election winner Jignesh Karia has come to an end. Trustee Nalin Kanani said that in the 2024 chamber elections, the forms of 10 teams, including him and his accompanying trustee, were cancelled, so 10 applicants, including Nalin Kanani, had filed a complaint against the Charity Commissioner at the Porbandar Chamber in Rajkot against the election chairman, Jignesh Karia, honorary minister, among others. The opposite party did not accept the notice for 6 months, so Nalin went to Kanani's side to serve the notice in person and served the notice by giving an affidavit. The case went on after the notice was served. The new judges have come and they have studied the case and given the verdict. Nalin Kanani has been ordered to cancel the election and subsequent elections and now five trustees including Nalin Kanani should take over the administration of the petitioner chamber and within 45 days a general meeting including Nalin Kanani and his team will be called as per the constitution and provision and no other interference will be allowed to take over the election and hold the election and hand over the work to the new body. The matter reached the police
It is worth mentioning that on 15/2 last year, a team of Chamber of Commerce including Nalin Kanani reached the Chamber of Commerce to take possession of the chamber, they said that Nalin Kanani is the chief trustee, while Jignesh Karia, the president of the opposite party, and his team, who won the election, also claimed to be the president, and the two parties reached the Kamalabagh police station.
