A scheme to get a learning licence sitting at home has been launched by the state transport department. In this, the RTO office will be able to withdraw the learning license in a non-faceless manner from Monday. In addition, contactless applicants will be able to get a learning license through a computer from their home. However, at present, around 200-250 applications are received online every day at the Bhavnagar RTO office for a learning license. Therefore, due to the scheme that can be obtained with the help of a computer sitting at home for a learning license, applicants will be exempted from being pushed by ITIs to take the learning license exam. Arrangements for the learning license will be made by the Transport Department at the RTO office of Bhavnagar district. Therefore, applicants who do not have computer facility at home or internet facility will be able to take the examination at the RTO office. The applicant has to undergo Aadhaar-based e-KYC
Applicants will have to undergo Aadhaar-based e-KYC for learning license. To get the license, the applicant will have to visit the online portal Electronically Road Safety Tutorial. After this, online examination for learning license will have to be given. The password will be generated on the basis of the mobile number linked with the aadhaar card of the examination applicant.
