A bike rider was killed in a road accident near Gokul Dairy near Balej village. The accident took place when a speeding car hit the bike. Madhavpur police have registered a case against the driver of the car and started an investigation. According to police sources, the deceased was identified as Galabhai Mulubhai Ulwa of Balage village. They were passing by on their bike when they were hit by a four-wheeler car near Gokul Dairy. The accident was so serious that Galabhai suffered serious head injuries. He died on the spot. The driver of the car fled the scene leaving his vehicle at the spot. A team of Madhavpur police rushed to the spot after being informed about the incident. Police shifted the body for postmortem and took legal action. Now, the police have launched a search for the absconding car driver on the basis of a complaint by the family members of the deceased.
