
VADODARA: The Vigilance Department of Central Gujarat Electricity Company (CGPCL) today conducted raids in sensitive areas of the city and busted power theft and irregularities worth Rs 25.37 lakh.
Meanwhile, 24 teams inspected 872 power connections in Bawamanpura, Noorani Mosque, Bavchawad, Rajpurani Pol, Mogalwada, behind Jamnabai Hospital, Genda Phalia, Patel Phalia, Dudhwala Mohalla, Chipwad and Sarsia Lake areas under Panigate and Mandvi sub-divisions.
