Vadodara: The Fatehganj police have registered a case against Rahul Verma, an assistant at the Fatehganj office of the West Division, for allegedly transferring Rs 10.17 lakh from the accounts of a family with small savings.
Nitin Parmar, who works as an inspector of post office at Fertilazarnagar, central sub-division of the Department of Posts, has told the police that the office is at the SSPO of the western division of Vadodara. Rahul Sunil Kumar Verma (Shriji Tenement, behind CK Prajapati School, Gorwa Mool Gangahal, Gaya, Bihar) had allegedly tampered with the savings accounts of Bhavnaben Dilipbhai Patel, his son Hardik and her husband Dilipbhai, a customer of Ranoli Post of the Monthly Income Scheme (MIS).
