The woman constable and policeman, who were on duty at different police stations in the city, had run away without being told home for seven days, the policeman brother of the woman constable and his acquaintance PSI chased away the sister and attacked her policeman friend in search of the constable. When the CCTV footage of the incident was released, there was a stir, although the police were surprised to say that the complaint had not been registered even though the settlement had been reached. Constable Jeet Pathak of cyber crime police station and constable Rajal Gadhvi, who was on duty at the women's police station, had left their homes for seven days. However, there was no success in getting the location as the mobiles of both of them were switched off. Constable Jai Rangani of Malviyanagar police station, a special friend of Constable Jeet Pathak, would be aware of where the two might have fled, rajal Gadhvi's brother, went to Constable Ashish Gadhvi of Kheda police station and decided to treat Jeet in a unique style. Constable Ashish Gadhvi and PSI Dhamelia, who was on duty in gondal SRP, had come to Rajkot and started searching for two of their acquaintances Yogi and Nand, constable Jai Rangani of Malviya. On getting information that policeman Jai Rangani was at his house in Malviyanagar area, the four reached there and asked where Rajal and Jeet Pathak were. The incident took place at around 9.30 pm and had been a topic of discussion in the city police station since that day, but no police complaint has been lodged.
