Gandhinagar: Bulldozer action begins in Bahiyal, Dada's bulldozer turns over 186 illegal encroachments after gravel pelting during Navratri

Gandhinagar Demolition News: Dada's bulldozer operation started in Gandhinagar's Bahial early this morning, as many as 186 illegal structures were demolished in the pressure removal operation once again against the mischievous elements who pelted stones during Navratri. It may be mentioned that violence was spread by some mischievous elements in Bahiyal village of Dahegam taluka of Gandhinagar during Navratri over a social media post. Since early morning today, the administration has initiated action to demolish the illegal encroachments on the main road of the village.

The demolition of 186 illegal encroachers was started from this morning, all of whom were issued notices by the administration earlier. They were given an ultimatum to produce evidence of the construction within two days, however, as soon as the deadline expired, the demolition work has been started with tight police force since early morning. The police machinery was activated as soon as the violent riots took place during Navratri in Bahiyal. The police took action and filed a complaint against 83 people and a mob of 200 people. So far, more than 66 suspects have been arrested and remanded to jail.

Importantly, banners with 'I love Muhammad' were put up in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Similar banners were put up on social media. In which a Hindu youth from Bahiyal village near Gandhinagar commented on this social media post. As a result, the Muslim youths of Bahiyal were enraged and ransacked and set ablaze the shop of the young man and the shops in the vicinity. Then he went to the mandap where the Navratri garba was being played and pelted stones. As a result, the atmosphere in the village became tense.
