In view of the Diwali festival, the Patan ST department has taken an important decision to transport passengers to their hometowns easily. A total of 15 extra buses will be run from October 18 i.e. from Waghbaras to next year. Vipulbhai Rawal, depot manager of Patan ST department, said, "There is a heavy movement of passengers during Diwali, especially on the Patan-Ahmedabad, Patan-Dahod and Patan-Godhra routes. An additional 7-8 buses will be operated daily on the Godhra-Dahod route, while 5 additional buses will be operated daily on the Patan-Ahmedabad route. Thus, a total of 15 additional buses will be operated by the Patan depot. An additional ticket counter will also be set up at the bus station.
