The Patan LCB nabbed a man from Rajasthan with liquor worth Rs 4.32 lakh hidden in a secret compartment made in a truck from Dharwada check post. The police seized liquor, trucks and mobile phones worth Rs 14.43 lakh and registered a case against three persons. On Wednesday, a team of LCB conducted a search near Dharwada checkpost during patrolling in Siddhpur police station area and recovered 1080 bottles of foreign liquor worth Rs 4,32,000 from the secret compartment of a truck (RJ-19-GK-1308). The police seized liquor, trucks, mobile phones and cash worth Rs 14,43,500. The arrested have been identified as Jairam Navalram Meghwal, a resident of Mithinadi, Dhanau T. Dhanau Chautan, G. A case was registered at Siddhpur police station against 3 persons who were absconding from Barmer Rajasthan and absconding accused Harsh Chandra Singh Khemsingh, resident of Mangara Punjara Mandore, Jodhpur Rajasthan and an unidentified person who ordered liquor.
