Gujarat ATS team has been investigating the boat since September 10. Gujarat ATS PI J.N. Patel received information that an Iranian boat had left for India with drugs from Pakistan. Patel received information. The drug-laden boat was to pass through Kochi on September 10. Korat and V.N. Vaghela left for Kochi with a team of 12 employees. After reaching Kochi, a joint operation was carried out in coordination with the Indian Coast Guard. Upon investigation, it was found that the boat was in the international border. The boat was traced with the help of satellite The Iranian boat was traced by ATS and Coast Guard through satellite. The boat could not be caught as it was in the international boundary. So they waited for it to enter Indian waters. As soon as it entered the waters, the Coast Guard and ATS started searching for the boat. About 30 personnel from the Coast Guard ship reached the boat loaded with drugs in different speed boats. During the search of the boat, 526 kg of drugs were found along with 5 Pakistani nationals. The consignment of drugs was to reach Tamil Nadu from Kochi to Mumbai and from Mumbai to Tamil Nadu The interrogation of the five Pakistanis expedited by the ATS revealed that they were loaded with these drugs from Pakistan. They were to be transported from Kochi to Lakshadweep to Mumbai and from Mumbai to Tamil Nadu. From Tamil Nadu, they were to go to Pakistan piece by piece. The boat was taken to Mumbai with the consignment of drugs As soon as the boat reached Mumbai, three other teams of the ATS left for Mumbai. After the completion of the panchnama, the five arrested Pakistanis and the consignment of drugs will be brought to Ahmedabad. The case will also be investigated by the ATS independently. The names of a person from Punjab and a Nigerian man have been revealed in this drug case, which is being investigated.
