There are four things that have been included in this census for the first time. Do you use the Internet, smart phones, bottled bottles?, Which cereal do you eat the most? Provision has been made for legal action and penalty against any person who refuses to furnish information or gives false information. Citizens can reach out to the official toll-free helpline number 1855 or visit the censusindia.gov.in portal for any of their queries or queries. Comprehensive response to self-assessment The self-count campaign, which started on May 17 in the state, has received an overwhelming response. As on 30th May, more than 3.74 lakh aware citizens including Governor Acharya Devvrat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Cabinet members, Chief Secretary and senior officials have filled the self-enumeration forms on the portal. Of these, scrutiny of more than 3.30 lakh applications has been completed while about 44,000 forms are currently under process. If you have an FM on mobile, you have a radio, if you are in a live-in, you have a married live-in: A couple who have been together for a long time will be considered as a 'married couple' in the census. Radio-TV: If there is an FM in mobile, it will be considered 'radio'. Watching YouTube on mobile is not considered 'TV', it is necessary to have a TV. Vehicle: Tractor will not be registered in the category of car/jeep. E-rickshaws/autos will not be treated as cars or bikes. Water: Even if you have a tap in the house, if you order bottled or canned water, then write 'bottled water'. Kitchen: If you cook and sleep in one part of the house, it will not be considered a 'kitchen'. The kitchen will be registered only when the house is separate. There will be 'impenetrable' security like the banking system, every house will become 'DigiDot' on the map, it will have 5 benefits: 1. Accurate disaster relief A digital layout map made of geo-tagging will be useful in the time of disaster like cloudburst, flood or earthquake. In the event of a cloudburst in a remote village in the remote Himalayan region, this map will instantly reveal how many people live in which house. How many people will be staying in hotels according to their capacity. This detail will help in arranging all the boats, helicopters, food packets etc. required for the rescue. 2. Helps in demarcation It will also help in judiciously defining political boundaries such as Parliamentary or Assembly constituencies. The map prepared with geo-tagging will make this picture clear how there is a balanced division of rural and urban areas in the region. Communities should not be divided in such a way that one mohalla becomes one area and another mohalla in another area. The process of delimitation of homes will be simplified with the help of DigiDOT. 3. Ease of Urban Planning This map will also be useful in planning roads, schools, hospitals or gardens in cities. If the number of children is high in the digital layout of homes in a place, plans can be made to create parks and schools on priority. Mobile Relief Vans can be sent immediately in case of any medical emergency, if the number of kutcha houses or dilapidated houses is found in a colony. 4. Urbanization and migration rate data will be available The digital map changes in the census to be taken after ten years of this census can be easily recorded. The rate of urbanization in different parts of the country and the mapping of migration areas can be compared in a definite manner. 5. Duplicate names will be removed from the electoral roll Geo-tagging along with Aadhaar identification will help in making the electoral roll accurate and robust. When a voter is digitally connected to a geographical location, his original residence address will also be revealed at the time of double registration.
