A petition has been filed in the Gujarat High Court seeking abortion of the 26-week-old foetus of a rape victim from Vadodara. It states that the minor does not want to have a pregnancy. So that she should be allowed to have an abortion. There will be a report and on the basis of that, the High Court will take a decision
The Gujarat High Court has ordered a medical examination of the minor on March 11 by the medical board of SSG Hospital in Vadodara. It will work under the head of a gynaecologist. The report of the medical examination will be submitted before the Gujarat High Court on March 12. In the report, the hospital will provide information about the physical and mental condition of the minor as well as the risk of her abortion. On the basis of which the court will decide further.
