Vadodara Corporation : The political atmosphere heated up as today was the last day to file nomination papers for the Vadodara Municipal Corporation elections of local self-government in Vadodara city. The list of candidates was released by the BJP last evening, while the Congress released its list late at night. On the last day today, there was a huge rush at various government offices in the city to file nomination papers. Apart from this, the candidates as well as their supporters were seen rushing since morning to complete the process of necessary documents.
Candidates were trying till the last minute to complete the police clearance certificate, affidavit, property details and other documents required to fill the nomination form.
