Padra taluka recorded the highest rainfall of 53.01 per cent and Waghodia 14.27 per cent the lowest season's rainfall.

Heavy rains continued in Vadodara, Vadodara city and the district. The city witnessed a sudden downpour this afternoon. With this, the city and the district have received 31 per cent of the season's total rainfall.

The weather suddenly changed in the afternoon after a heavy downpour this day and it rained heavily. People who came out were stuck  in the wake of the rain storm. Vadodara received six mm of rain in the afternoon, sources said. Following the rain, there was a chill in the atmosphere as well. With this, Vadodara city has received 32.65 per cent of the season's rainfall till mid-July.

Vadodara city and district have received 267 mm of rainfall till date against the season's total rainfall of 869 mm. Padra taluka received the highest rainfall of 53.01 mm in the city and district, while the taluka recorded 12 mm rainfall today while the lowest rainfall was recorded in Waghodia taluka at just 14.27 mm. Among other talukas, Savli received 27.15 per cent rainfall, Dabhoi 25.35 per cent, Karjan 30.07 per cent, Shinor 37.13 per cent and Desar 29.51 per cent.
