In view of this, the Western Railway has decided to run two additional superfast special trains between Mumbai Central and Ahmedabad. Train No. 09027/09028 Mumbai Central– Ahmedabad AC Superfast Tejas Special: This Tejas Special train will depart from Mumbai Central at 11:45 pm on Saturday 7th March 2026 and will reach Ahmedabad at 8:30 am the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 09028 will depart from Ahmedabad at 3:00 am on Monday 9th March 2026 and will reach Mumbai Central at 11:15 am. During the journey, the train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch and Vadodara stations. For the convenience of the passengers, premium coaches like First AC, AC 2-Tier and AC 3-Tier are being provisioned

Train No. 09021/09022 Mumbai Central– Ahmedabad AC Superfast Special: The second special train will depart from Mumbai Central at 6:20 am on 8th March 2026 and will reach Ahmedabad at 12:40 pm. On the return journey on the same day, Train No. 09022 will depart from Ahmedabad at 3:10 pm and reach Mumbai Central at 9:45 pm. The train will also have stoppages at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch and Vadodara stations. It has modern coaches like Vistadome, Executive Affliction, Executive Chair Car and AC Chair Car to provide a better passenger experience><

Train Nos. 09027 and 09028 has started from 6th March 2026. Bookings for train numbers 09021 and 09022 will start from March 7, 2026. Passengers can book their own tickets across all PRS counters or through IRCTC website.
