Indian cricketer hid his biggest pain, says father passed away before T20 World Cup

Last year till the Asia Cup 2025, Jitesh Sharma was being seen as the second choice of wicketkeeper in Team India. But Ishan Kishan's form was better than him, due to which Ishan got a place in the T20 World Cup squad and Jitesh did not. In such a situation, Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson made important contributions to the historic World Cup victory of the Indian team.

He said, "When I got the news of being out of the squad, I was disappointed. I am also a human being, so at first I was very disappointed. My father fell ill and passed away on February 1."
