But Ishan Kishan's form was better than him, due to which Ishan got a place in the T20 World Cup squad and Jitesh did not. In such a situation, Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson made important contributions to the historic World Cup victory of the Indian team.
He said, "When I got the news of being out of the squad, I was disappointed. I am also a human being, so at first I was very disappointed. My father fell ill and passed away on February 1."
