Vadodara: The corporation does not have information about how much help was received during the Corona period


- Rti activists have been given information about CSR funds given by three or four private companies

There is no information available with the Corporation about the assistance of crores of rupees given to the Vadodara Municipal Corporation by various companies as well as many builders during the corona period, while three-four companies have kept a record of the amount given.

Rti activist Atul Gamchi, under the Right to Information Act, 2005, has allocated how much money under CSR fund to  vadodara corporation in the last three years by which company, organization, agency. And for what purpose did this money come for?, for what work were used?, and detailed information about the supporting organizations was sought. In the last three years , the accounting branch of Vadodara Corporation has provided information that 15.63 lakh rupees have been allocated by Rotex Automation Limited, Makarpura and 64.55 lakhs by GSFC Fertilizer to Vadodara Corporation. Rotex Automation Limited, Makarpura, Shah Foundation Urmi Society Akota, said that funds have been allocated for the new ambulance, out of the funds of GSFC Fertilizer, an amount of Rs 48.92 lakh has been spent on carpeting the service road under chhani village bridge. And from 2020 to April 2023, there is no such eliaida fund in the accounting branch of Vadodara Corporation.

RTI activist Atul Gamchi has alleged that even though the health department is a corporation-owned department, no account has been made of the assistance of crores of rupees given by various companies and builders and traders during the Corona period.
