Vadodara: For the first time, a joint disaster management workshop of all security forces was held to deal with the situation of floods or cyclones in Vadodara as the monsoon is likely to arrive in the next ten days.
In Vadodara, there are incidents of houses falling due to heavy rains and storms, waterlogging of houses, falling of trees, hoardings, sheets and solar panels.
For the first time, officials of various departments, including the police commissioner, organized a joint workshop at the Pratapnagar police headquarters as the monsoon is likely to arrive in the next ten days.
