A case has been registered against a 21-year-old woman of Khambhat taluka BJP Yuva Morcha and her friend on charges of repeated rape, blackmailing her by taking obscene videos and photos and threatening to kill her. Vijay Ravjibhai Chauhan (who is an executive member of the Taluka BJP Yuva Morcha), a resident of a village in Khambhat and originally associated with the transport business, came in contact with the victim Parineeta through social media in June 2025. Trapped in the trap of talks, he had a relationship with the woman and during this time took some objectionable photos of her on his phone. Three months later, when Parineeta's husband and in-laws came to know about it, a meeting was held before the social commission. Vijay Chauhan apologized and promised to delete all the photos and videos. So the woman ended the relationship there. Vijay Chauhan did not delete the photos and videos despite being taken to the guest house and raped and threatened. In January last year, when Parineeta was going for sewing, the accused blocked her way, threatened to make obscene material viral and forcibly took her to a guest house. There she was raped against her will. Shortly after she forced her husband and in-laws to give them sleeping pills, Vijay brought her friend Kiran Jadhav along with her. The two took turns raping Parineeta in the guest house and also shot videos of each other. On the basis of this video, they were constantly blackmailing the victim. Not only this, the accused also forced Parineeta to give sedative pills to her husband and in-laws and also threatened to kill her husband if he did not do so. Tired of the constant physical and mental torture, Parineeta finally told her husband about the entire ordeal. Later, a written application was filed at Khambhat Rural Police Station at 11:50 pm on 4th August 2026. However, the local police did not register any FIR immediately. It is alleged that Khambhat rural police inspector P.H. Barber and P.S.I. In the absence of a woman police personnel, the victim was questioned continuously for 9 hours and forced to compromise. An FIR was lodged in 4 days after the SP's strict instructions. The victim woman and her family members approached the SP G.G. He reached out to Jasani in person and made a written submission. The district police chief ordered immediate action after seeing the seriousness of the matter. Following the SP's order, the local police swung into action and registered a case against Vijay Ravjibhai Chauhan and Kiran Jadhav on the fourth day of filing the application. In this regard, PI P. H. Asked about the complaint lodged at the rural police station 4 days later, Nai said that it had to be investigated after receiving the application. Because the time between the incident and the complaint was very long, it was found necessary to investigate the true and false incidents. The police have registered a case under serious sections of the BNS and registered a case against both the accused under stringent sections of Indian Judicial Code (IPC) 64(2)(m), 70(1) of gang rape, 351(3) (criminal intimidation with intent to cause death or grievous hurt), 352 (insult with intent to provoke public peace), 54 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for repeatedly raping the same woman.
