Stations that appear on Google Maps in 150 km are closed.: No charging station for EV vehicles between Samakhiali and Radhanpur

Electric Vehicles (EVs) are being promoted in a big way by the government to reduce pollution and reduce dependence on petrol and diesel across the country. In Kutch district too, people are slowly shifting towards EV vehicles. Usually, once fully charged, EV cars can travel up to 300 to 400 kilometers, so there is no major problem in local traveling. But, if you have to travel long distances from Kutch to Rajasthan, then the road becomes a mountain of trouble for the motorists. The distance between Samakhiyali and Radhanpur is approximately 150 km. If a motorist is taking an EV car on this route, then he has to think seriously in advance. If an EV driver leaves Mandvi, Abdasa, Lakhpat or Nakhatrana after charging the full battery in the car, he will have to charge the car battery before Radhanpur. However, no charging station is operational on this route before Radhanpur. In the current era of technology, when the driver reaches the charging station with the help of Google Maps or other apps, most of the stations are found to be closed or in a dusty state. There are only 2 charging stations between Samakhiyali and Radhanpur, but they are also currently closed, so the problems of EV drivers have reached their peak. If petrol or diesel vehicles run out of fuel, then the car can be started by filling petrol through the can, but in an EV car, if the battery runs out of zero, then the vehicle is completely locked. In such a situation, there is no other option but to towing the car in the middle of the road or moving forward. People travelling with family have to face a lot of trouble due to the sudden stoppage of the car on the highway.
