'I'll shower money': Bhuva lures trader by saying 'I'll rain money', extorts Rs 32 lakh on pretext of performing rituals

A complaint of cheating of Rs 32 lakh has been registered at Khedbrahma police station against three persons, including Sarpanch Alpesh Somaji Thakor of Ravol village in Idar taluka of Sabarkantha district. When I nodded, he asked me to go to meet Bhuva on Sunday. 'I will shower money on you and make you 2 crores of 10 lakh' When we went to meet Bhuva on Sunday, he first took Rs 1,000 for the goods from me. In the luggage, shriphal, agarbatti, flowers, etc. were ordered. After which he said that we should see about your mother in the grain. Seeing the grain, he told me that there is a problem of some god motion in your house. You have to come here every Sunday. By saying this, he cheated me by taking 5 lakh, 8 lakh, 8 lakh, 15 lakh rupees from me by taking 30 lakh rupees from me. He used to do all this where there is a cemetery near his farm Then he asked me for another Rs 5 lakh and said we will rain money. He said, 'I will rain money and return all your money.' "I will give you Rs 2 crore out of Rs 10 lakh. Thus, I was very tempted. He used to do all this where there is a crematorium near his farm. The accused lured Rajendrabhai by showering money According to the complaint filed by Rajendrabhai Hirabhai Sagar, who runs a vegetable business in Wadali, on November 20, 2021, due to his mother's illness, he was going to Khedbrahma for treatment. During this time, he met Alpesh Somaji Thakor of Ravol. Alpesh called Rajendrabhai to Ravol, saying that he was mataji's bhuva and would cure the disease through mantra-tantra. Took Rs 5 lakh as luggage for the ceremony from Ujjain Alpesh Thakor (who is now the sarpanch of the village) along with Jitubhai Bhikhabhai Thakor of Golwada and Narsinhbhai Hirabhai Thakor of Padardi village in Khedbrahma taluka were also present at Ravol. The trio had demanded Rs 1,000 for the puja ceremony. He then demanded Rs 5 lakh as luggage from Ujjain to perform the rituals and asked Rajendrabhai to remove a pot from the crematorium and bring it the next day. The accused asked Rajendrabhai to remove a pot from the crematorium After all this arrangement, the accused lured Rajendrabhai by raining money. After that, on the pretext of "doubling one', the trio took away rs 10 lakh, Rs 2 lakh and Rs 5 lakh three times from Rajendrabhai in a phased manner, taking an estimated total of Rs 32 lakh. Rajendrabhai Sagar has lodged a complaint at Khedbrahma police station accusing the trio of breach of trust and cheating. A total of Rs 32 lakh was taken away on the pretext of making a "double of one" Earlier, a complaint was lodged at Jadar police station against bhuva, the sarpanch who performed black magic, and this is the second complaint. The police have arrested three accused, including the sarpanch, and have also granted their three-day remand.
