NEW DELHI: The driver of the pickup truck fled the spot on the NE-4 Bharatmala Express highway from Bharuch to Vadodara on Saturday while the police seized liquor worth Rs 20.60 lakh from the vehicle.
According to the information received, the district police staff was patrolling on the Delhi-Mumbai Express Highway last evening when a Mahindra pickup of GJ-06 passing from Surwada village in Karjan taluka was signalled to stop by the policemen in a private car.
