Nigeria has secured a place in next year's Under-Women's T20 World Cup by defeating Zimbabwe in the ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier. Bangladesh and Nepal will host this tournament of 2027. Nigeria defeated Zimbabwe by 4 runs in the final. The team did not lose any match in the tournament.
In the match, Nigeria put 98 runs on the board after batting first. Seeing this total, it seemed that Zimbabwe would win easily, but it could not happen. There was great bowling from Nigeria.
