There is a constant discussion about Pakistan not playing in the World Championship of Legends 2026 (WCL 2026) being played these days. Pakistan did not participate in its first 2 matches of the tournament. Now the report has revealed that the Pakistan Cricket Board i.e. PCB has agreed to give a No Objection Certificate to Pakistan in the tournament. But some conditions have been laid down by the Pakistan Board. It also includes the condition of apologizing to India.
The source was quoted as saying that the World Championship of Legends has not been prepared for any conditions. Pakistan's first match was against Bangladesh Champions and the second against Australia Champions. Both matches were canceled.
PCB's condition of an apology to India.
In the final of the last i.e. 2025 World Championship of Legends, Team India refused to play against Pakistan. There was resentment in the Pakistan Cricket Board about this.
Condition: The Indian players should give a written apology for not taking the field last year and they should also be ready for a handshake, but the management of the tournament has accepted only the commercial terms and rejected the terms of the apology and handshake<>
6 teams will continue with WCL
A total of 7 teams are participating in the tournament, including the Pakistan champion. But the tournament will continue with 6 teams without Pakistan.
India champions win first match";
India Champions played the first match against Australia Champions. In the match, India batted first and scored 196 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Australia, who came out for the chase, could only reach 150 runs in 16.2 overs. In this way, India won by 46 runs.
After this, Team India had to face defeat in the second match against England Champions. In the match, England batted first and scored 192 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. Chasing, Team India could only score 171 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. In this way, England won by 21 runs.
