Names of 50,000 voters in five assembly constituencies to be deleted

Vadodara: The Congress on Wednesday submitted a memorandum to the Vadodara Collector's office alleging that a conspiracy was hatched to delist the names of 50,000 voters in five assembly constituencies in the city.

The Congress today submitted a memorandum to the Collector stating that the electoral roll was published on December 19. In this, a well-planned conspiracy has been hatched to snatch the voting rights of the voters of five assembly constituencies and  the misuse of Form-7. It has been demanded that the conspiracy be filed against democracy and a case of sedition should be filed. It has been further stated that objections have been raised against the names of the government machinery by misusing more than 50,000 Form-7 without proof by hiding correct information.  The objection petitions have not been uploaded as per the rules laid down by the Election Commission.
