CWG: PM tells Mirabai Chanu, 'It seemed like gold medal was dripping from every drop of tears'

India has won a total of 39 medals in the Commonwealth Games 2026. There are 13 gold, 17 silver and 9 bronze. India has been ranked fourth in the tally.

PM Modi told weightlifter Mirabai Chanu- 'Three times and so many tears were falling. I felt that the gold medal was dripping from every drop of tears.'
