Gujarat Rain: After a long break, heavy rains have entered Gujarat again. Amid the Meteorological Department's forecast of rain, some areas of Bhavnagar, Junagadh, Rajkot and Jamnagar districts have received heavy showers and slow rainfall. The arrival of rain after a month has brought happiness among the farmers. Farmers are now waiting for good rains with the hope that the rains will prove beneficial for the crop.

Rainfall in Bhavnagar city and rural areas

Bhavnagar city and   It has also rained in rural areas. Rainy weather was seen in Mahuva and Jesar talukas. It rained in villages including Ranigam, Depla, Karjala, Zakadla and Hipavadli in Jesar. moderate to heavy rains forecast in Gujarat

Moderate to heavy rains are likely to occur in many parts of the state from today till September 15. Especially heavy rains have been forecast from September 12 to 14. Due to the influence of the upper air cyclonic circulation and low-pressure system, heavy rains may occur in some areas of South Gujarat, Central Gujarat and Saurashtra. On the other hand, the state has so far recorded a deficit of 19 per cent rainfall than normal.
