Redmi 17 5G launched in India, gets a superb 7900mAh battery

Redmi has launched another budget-friendly smartphone in India. The Chinese company has recently launched this phone in the global market. It comes with a big battery and cool features. The company has also launched the Redmi 17 4G along with this phone in the global market. In this phone, users will get a superb battery of 7900mAh.

Redmi's 5G phone has been launched in India in two storage variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 128GB. The phone starts at Rs 39,999, with the top variant priced at Rs 41,999. However, the phone will be available for sale in India starting at Rs 23,999, with the top variant being available for ₹26,999.

The phone comes in three color options: Absolute Black, Endless Blue, and Eternal Orange.   The sale will take place on September 10 on e-commerce websites Amazon India and Mi.com.

Redmi's budget-friendly phone comes with a 6.9-inch HD+ display. The phone has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and supports a 120Hz refresh rate and has a peak brightness of up to 825 nits. Redmi has provided the flagship-level Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for display protection.

Redmi 17 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The phone's storage can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card. The phone also has an IP64 rating which makes it resistant to water and dust. This budget-friendly smartphone has a dual camera setup on the back. The phone has a 50MP main camera and a secondary camera. For selfies and video calling, the Redmi phone has an 8MP camera. This phone runs on HyperOS 16 based on Android 3. The phone has a 7900mAh battery and offers 45W fast charging. Connectivity options include dual 5G SIM card, WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
