Vadodara: A sessions court has given an important and exemplary verdict in the shameful incident of the act against Srishti with a 9-year-old minor girl in the Fatehganj police station area of Vadodara city. In this serious case of torturing a 9-year-old innocent girl, the court has convicted the accused and sentenced him to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment.
Man sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexually assaulting girl
The Sessions Court sentenced the accused and imposed a fine of Rs. 50,000. The court has shown a humanitarian attitude and has ordered to pay Rs. 45,000 to the victim girl. Apart from this, an additional amount of Rs. 1,00,000 has been paid under the Government Compensation Scheme to bring the victim out of physical and mental trauma. The court has also made a clear order to pay Rs. 1,00,000.

During the trial, the government and the victim party presented the case to Special Public Prosecutor (Special PP) Prakash P. Thakkar. Thakkar presented sharp and strong arguments. On the basis of the scientific, medical and oral evidence presented before the court, the guilt of the accused was proved. The court ordered the accused to be sent to jail for such a heinous act with the intention of setting an example in the society.
