The 'Kesaria 4.0' pre-Navratri event held in Surat witnessed unprecedented enthusiasm of the players. The melodious voice of popular singer Geeta Rabari evoked huge excitement at the Garba ground. The entire ground became housefull as Surtis thronged in large numbers to listen to Geeta Rabari and dance to her rhythm. Geeta Rabari's traditional outfit became the center of attraction during the event. She wore a special traditional style Kalidar chaniyacholi with a multi-colour bandage print. The choli featured traditional Kutchi embroidery, abhala, kaudi and colourful pendants. Along with this, she wore a full desi look with a green coloured bandhani and a simple hairstyle with traditional Kutchi jewellery around her neck, which was adding charm to her singing as well as attractive look on stage. Geeta Rabari captivated the hearts of the Surtis.
Geeta Rabari forced the players to stay up late at night by calling out the popular garba from the stage like 'Rasiyo Rupalo Rang Rallyo, Ghar Java Nahta Nahta'. A crowd of enthusiastic fans rushed to the stage to get a glimpse of the singer as well as to click photo-videos. To control the situation, the security staff had to move people away from the stage. However, seeing the love of the fans, Geeta Rabari also made the fans happy by taking a selfie with the players' mobile in her hand from the stage itself. Players are trapped as the barricade breaks
There was no space to even step inside due to the uncontrollable crowd that had gathered in large numbers than the capacity of the dome. The pressure of the crowd was such that chaos prevailed at the entrance and internal passages and the situation got out of the hands of the organisers within minutes. The crowd friction in the Garba Dome increased so much that the iron barricades, which were considered strong due to the tremendous push, collapsed and collapsed.
