A shocking incident has taken place in Surat's Uttaran area. In posh societies like 'Shaligram States', a pre-planned attempt was made to push a family to the brink of death by using 'prasad', a symbol of religious faith. What was the whole incident? According to reports, the incident took place with the family of Gordhanbhai Vasrambhai Donda, a resident of Shaligram Estates, a luxury society in Uttaran. When Gordhanbhai returned home on the afternoon of April 10, a bag was lying on the threshold of the main door of his house. When I opened the bag, I found Bundi laddoos in it. Usually, in Gujarati culture, on the occasion of any auspicious occasion or celebration, the neighbours would distribute prasad, so Gordhanbhai did not have any suspicion and took it home as a 'prasad'. Police investigation and CCTV footage A convoy of Uttaran police reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. As many as 5 suspects have been caught on camera examining the CCTV footage of the society, on the basis of which the police have intensified the investigation. The family alleged that the act might have been committed due to an old dispute with someone living in the neighbourhood. Police suspect that this is not a sudden incident but a planned conspiracy to do Reiki and know when the family will be present. Truth will come out in interrogation of suspects: ACP Parth Chowatia, ACP of Uttaran police station, said that a 'knowable' complaint has been filed at present. A sample of the prasadi i.e. sweet has been seized and sent to FSL for analysis. While the family has raised suspicion on the neighbour, the police are investigating every aspect, on the basis of each suspect and technical analysis. After the FSL report comes out and whatever facts come out at the end of the inquiry, legal action will be taken.
