Vadodara, Nov 10 (UNI) The city survey offices have stopped collecting revenue after the circular to hand over the power to collect revenue from the city survey offices, but the citizens who want to pay the revenue have to be harassed for the last five days.
The state settlement commissioner and the director of land office issued a circular on March 5 and sent a letter to all the district collectors and district development officers of the state to continue the old system for revenue collection by putting a curtain on the system that has been running for the last seven years. The letter has reached the city survey offices, so that these offices have stopped collecting revenue immediately and people were told to go to the Talati office.
