Under Section 113, the US President will have the power to impose 100 percent tariff on imports from countries that buy Russian crude oil and natural gas. On July 28, the Senate voted 86-12 to implement cloture. Now it will have to be approved by the House of Representatives after approval. The president's signature will also be required.
