Another firing incident has sparked outrage in Vadodara. The incident took place at flat number 201 and 301 of RNA-48 Apartment near Priya Theatre in Gotri-Bhayali area of the city at around 1 am on July 2. The incident took place when the family was sleeping. This created an atmosphere of chaos. Cartridges were recovered from both the houses. The bullet broke mosquito nets and glass from the balcony and crossed the wooden door and cartridges were found in the drawing room. On being informed about the incident, a team of LCB along with the local police reached the spot and also took the help of FSL. Police inspected the spot and started collecting evidence and started investigating who fired and for what reason. Now there is a big revelation in this incident. The fourth floor of Ashwamedh Avenue, about 200 metres away from the flat where the firing took place, was a gathering of Nabiras. In this mehfil, for some reason, the unruly Nabiras opened fire. The bullets were fired at flats 201 and 203 of RNA-48, about 200 metres away. After the firing incident, there was a stampede among the random Nabiras and the fleeing Nabiras were also captured on CCTV. After the incident, the police rounded up 5 to 6 Nabirs and also seized the weapon used in the crime from the accused. Glass shattered in the balcony

District Superintendent of Police Sushil Agrawal said, "The firing took place at house number 201 and 301 of Arena 48 in Bhayali area of Vadodara. The incident took place at around 1.10 am last night. The police registered a case under the BNS section and the Arms Act and started an investigation. A liquor party was going on in the office located in the nearby Ashwamedh Apartments. Police have arrested 6 accused in the case. The revolver belongs to Mehul Gadhvi (Ahmedabad) and has a licence. Police have seized 4 cartridges. The office belongs to Joga Bharwad who was rented out to Kirpal Singh and there was no business going on there. The accused have been identified as Mehul Gadhvi (Ahmedabad), Shaktisinh Rana (Vadodara), Sanjay Dave alias RDX (Vadodara, with 15 offences registered against them), Vijay Bharwadi (Dahod), Deepak Jha (Vadodara) and Indrajit Vaghela (Rajkot). On June 26 at around 10:27 pm, an unidentified bike-borne man was shot at by unidentified bike-borne men on the main road from Waghodia Chowk to Waghodia. The driver of the car sustained bullet injuries in the incident and was rushed to a private hospital.
